So that's the new format. I think it flows a bit better and gives me more options. Now, do keep in mind that I'm no designer. I didn't pull anything apart or start dinking with the CSS. (Though if you've some skills in that area and know your way around MailerLite—let's talk!)
Let's briefly talk about the new website, which is, as all website are, a work in progress. One thing you should notice is some opportunities to help support The End. There are options for solo creators/fans as well as some options for brands, networks, or service providers. I've been spending the vast majority of my time working on The End. And it's a lot of fun, but it means other things are getting less of my attention. And many of those other things are income-generating. I'm juggling both well for now, but it's a little unsustainable. With some solid support, I'll be better equipped to make the right decisions.
I have more things planned for the website, including a "Certified Fiction-Friendly" badge/award/warm-fuzzy I can foist upon podcast hosting companies, listening apps, and directories that do right by fiction podcasters. I may also make a "naughty" list to call out the services—like Anchor and SoundCloud—that aren't good fits for fiction podcasters. And why that's the case.
Lots more in the works! So keep the submissions coming, creators. And keep spreading the word, you fabulous fan of fiction podcasts.
Cheers!
